On the 21st of April, the Development Policy University Day "Global Sustainability Projects in Science and Universities" will take place parallel to the FAIR HANDELN trade fair in Stuttgart. The event presents current projects and programs, such as the ASA university cooperation and the CampusWELTbewerb competition, discusses fields of action and strategies and enables a subject-related exchange between universities with lecturers and students. In this way, the conference contributes to the expansion of development policy competencies in research and teaching. The conference aims at a closer networking of universities in development-related work. Such networking can help to create increased awareness for the topic and to open up additional funding opportunities. Representatives from universities and academies, from research and teaching as well as students from all disciplines nationwide are invited.
The Development Policy University Day is an event organized by the Baden-Württemberg/Bavaria office of Engagement Global on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in cooperation with the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg, the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts Baden-Württemberg, the ASA program of Engagement Global, the Eine-Welz Promotor*innenprogramm Baden-Württemberg and the forum für internationale entwicklung + planung (finep).
