Submitted by Agnes Dietrich on
Podiumsdiskussion am SDG Hochschschultag in Freiburg

The report documents the discussions of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) University Day Baden-Württemberg 2023 on the theme of 'De-Colonizing Partnerships,' which took place this year on June 16th at the University of Freiburg.

The first part reflects on four overarching themes that emerged repeatedly during the discussions. In the second part, the results are structured by university areas, corresponding to the workshop themes of "Academic Knowledge Production", "Higher Education Structures", "Research Collaborations", and "Curriculum". They provide an overview of the current status quo and resulting recommendations for achieving decolonial global partnerships at universities.

The SDG University Day was organized by the Africa Centre for Transregional Research (ACT) at the University of Freiburg in cooperation with the Arnold-Bergstraesser-Institut (ABI).
